This USB 3.0 A-Male to B-Male Cable gives you full performance and the fastest transfer speeds possible with your USB enable devices.
The USB 3.0 technology adds a new transfer mode called “SuperSpeed” (SS) that capable of transferring data at up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s), which is more than ten times faster than USB 2.0 technology. Use this cable when you want the fastest transfer speeds between your computer and external device.
This cable features a standard Type-A USB connector on one end and a standard Type-B connector on the other. For example, you can plug the Type-A connector into your computer, then plug the Type-B connector into a device with a Type-B port: printers, servers, external hard drives, and digital-photography devices often have Type-B ports.
If your computer has a 2.0 USB port, your cable is 3.0, and your printer is 3.0, you will achieve 2.0 speed. If all three (computer, cable, and printer) all have 3.0 then you will have 3.0 speed. Look for the blue colored USB port on your PC, because even if in specs stated that your PC is USB 3.0 – not all of the ports will support this feature.
